Logan Industries won its first cylinder-repair job with an American mining customer. It will support the miner’s Hitachi 5500/5600 shovel cylinders and Epiroc Pit Viper cylinders, and will launch a reman program for its Caterpillar 6060F shovel.

Logan Industries said it won the job because it could provide on-site service and support, engineering solutions, and high quality work.

“We give them confidence to be sure of what they were getting before they placed the order with us,” said Dean Carey, technical director, Logan Industries. “As Logan gets started in the mining industry, we are making long-term plans to support our customers during emergency repairs during planned outages.”
