Chevron reportedly launched Rykon, a new overbased calcium sulfonate complex grease for heavy-duty and extreme-pressure applications.
According to a press release from a publicist, the high-performance grease reportedly helps increase uptime, enhance durability and longevity, and extend lubrication intervals. It delivers outstanding oxidation, thermal stability, and water performance to protect equipment from failures. Ultimately, it reduces the total cost of ownership.
Rykon also provides an alternative option to lithium-based thickeners, which have become expensive due to rising global demand.
