Sandvik introduced the Toro LH514iE, an automated cable-electric loader designed with AutoMine-integrated capabilities. The model features several updates, and offers improved safety and productivity over the predecessor LH514E.
The new loader gives the user options on the automation pathway. The user can upgrade from manual to autonomous operations when and to the level desired, Sandvik said. “From AutoMine Tele-Remote entry-level smart tele-operation, which offers standard features and capabilities, to AutoMine Core’s highly advanced automation system providing the most robust set of features for mass-mining applications, customers can choose the right automation for their mine’s needs.”
The cable-reeling system supports an operating range of 330 meters. The loader produces no diesel emissions and relatively minimal noise, vibration and heat.
