Valley Forge & Bolt Mfg. Co. launched the SPC4 Data Logger app, which is paired with the SPC4 406A Electronic Meter. The combo is a user-friendly solution for monitoring fastening load in environments that require a Bluetooth connection.
The meter gives an accurate and convenient method to measure the tension in an SPC4 fastener, and the new app allows users to compile the data and organize it. After a simple setup and calibration, users can configure the app with their specific equipment and site details to monitor target clamp load during both fastener installations and routine inspection, the supplier said. “This improved load monitoring method allows end-users to pinpoint problems, optimize installation time, reduce downtime, and share data with key stakeholders at any time.”
The app is available on the Google Play app store and can be purchased with the new SPC4 technology, which can be retrofitted for a variety of applications.
