U.S. Bureau of Land Management (BLM) officials presented Stillwater Mining Co. with their Economic Security Award for its Hardrock Mineral Community Outreach initiative. The recognition cited reclamation and sustainable development for local residents along with economic development benefits and stakeholder coordination.
“We believe in working to ensure our facilities are operated responsibly to the benefit of all,” CEO Mick McMullen said. “Our success not only translates to our stakeholders, but to communities and neighbors in Montana where we live and work.”
