Leagold Mining has reported results from an expansion feasibility study of its Los Filos gold operations in Guerrero state, Mexico, 230 kilometers (km) south of Mexico City. The study demonstrates the potential for development of the Bermejal underground mine on the property, enlarging the Los Filos open-pit mine, re-phasing the Bermejal open pit into two distinct open pits (Bermejal and Guadalupe), and construction of a carbon-in-leach (CIL) processing facility to complement the existing heap leach facilities.
