Western Graphite Inc. announced it is in negotiations to acquire a fully producing 2,000-acre graphite Khara mine located in the same area as its Amorf property in southern Turkey. Company officials say negotiations will determine whether the graphite deposit’s mineable life will be sufficient to ensure long-term production with minimal costs. The company seeks additional revenue to bring its Pure Flake mine into production quicker while building a plant and growing partners for increased production.
