BioteQ Environmental Technologies, a leader in the treatment of industrial wastewater, has commenced the 2012 operating season at the Minto mine site in the Yukon, providing water treatment operations services for Minto Explorations Ltd. BioteQ’s operations staff are presently on site, and are commissioning the water treatment system.
This is a fee-based contract where BioteQ earns revenue for labor provided and water treatment fees for volume of water treated. The company expects to treat approximately 500,000 cubic meters of water in the 2012 season, which may vary with precipitation and snow melt at the site.
