Rambooms introduced XROCK, a breaker boom automation and tele-remote system. XROCK is a state-of-the-art product family for breaker boom control suitable for grizzly and crushing operations both in underground and surface mines, the company reported.
The system is modular and scalable in features and the number of booms and operator stations. The automation system reduces the risk of error, and features collision avoidance, video surveillance, autoparking, and breaker tip control.
Intuitive and easy to learn, XROCK lets operators control everything ergonomically from the safety of a control room, Rambooms reported. The boom operation, management, and diagnostics are all available from the control station.
Multiple product options are available, from a single boom control to remote multi-boom fleet support.
