Asante Gold Corp. appointed Frederick Attakumah as executive vice president and country director. Prior to joining Asante, Attakumah was the executive vice president and managing director of Asanko Gold Ghana Ltd. David Anthony has been appointed president and CEO, replacing Douglas MacQuarrie who has been appointed nonexecutive chairman. Anthony joined Asante as COO in July 2021. Before joining Asante he was COO of Cardinal Resources Ltd. Before that he was COO of African Barrick Gold.
