FLSmidth announced FerroCer 22, described as impact wear panels designed for weight-sensitive zones of abrasion and moderate impact.
The unique matrix design of the panel construction combines the strength and malleability of steel with the superior abrasion resistance of ceramics, FLSmidth reported. Weighing 2.8 kg each, they are designed for areas requiring lightweight panels, such as reclaimer buckets and screen boxes.
