Veracio unveiled the new TruScan 2, TruProbe, and Strata as part of its first anniversary as a wholly owned subsidiary. The former division of Boart Longyear said the tools will “improve, automate, and digitally transform orebody sciences in exploration, resource definition, and production globally.”

TruScan 2 features co-registered data streams from hyperspectral and XRF scanning. “The versatile scanning capabilities of both chips and core provide scanning data, including mineralogical data, to teams within 24 hours,” Veracio said.

TrueProbe is an app that combines rig and downhole sensing technologies. “TruProbe ‘stacks’ a robust gamma sensor to enable operators to log both borehole deviation and gamma simultaneously,” Veracio said. The app “connects to an azimuth rig aligner and a wireless depth counter.”

Strata is a cloud-based platform that supports software that is deployed with Veracio hardware.

TruScan 2 was released at PDAC in early March.
