Epiroc launched Deep Automation for loaders and trucks. The solution and tools were developed to support interoperability and empower customers to control safety zones, production assignments, and autonomous traffic in real-time, Epiroc said.
Deep Automation tools include Deep Insights, which offers actionable information and transparency through data, supporting continuous improvement. Deep Fleet Simulations allow the user to create simulations of a production area before developing the mine or implementing automation solutions. Deep Safety provides flexible zones and access control to a production area, allowing for new vehicles to be checked in safely. Deep Routes records, tunes, and teaches routes to smart machines. Deep Control offers control of safety, production assignments, and autonomous traffic in real-time.
The solution is the most interoperable automation solution on the market, Epiroc said. All trucks and loaders within Epiroc’s Smart and Green series are prepared for automation and remote control.
