On November 30, live from Lugo, Itlay, Diemme Filtration will stream its commercial launch of the GHT5000F, the world’s largest filter press with 5-meter (m) x 5-m plates. Through an increased level of process automation, data collection and monitoring, and the analysis of historical data, Diemme’s said the system will optimize work cycles, predict failures and reduce downtime. Beyond the introduction of new equipment, the company will use the live streaming event to discuss the importance of tailings management and to compare notes on the global context in which the mining industry operates.
The launch event will be broadcast in two different time zones to cover the entire planet. During the broadcast, it will be possible to see the unit live and there will be speeches by prominent mining proponents and testimony from special guests.
The convention will close with the launch of a fine solidarity initiative: a charity race promoted by Diemme Filtration with the contribution of the multi-awarded Italian ultramarathon runner Giorgio Calcaterra.
