Redpath Australia was awarded a significant surface raisebore contract in New South Wales, Australia. The contract scope involves three Redbore rigs: Redbore 100, Redbore 90EX and Redbore 90. All three rigs will be designed and manufactured in North Bay, Canada, and are contracted for eight holes, totaling 5.3 kilometers (km). It’s the largest single raiseboring contract in the company’s 59-year history.

Redpath Australia said it was selected for this contract for its safety record and high-performance standards. Work will commence on site in June, with recruitment to begin shortly.

“The award of this contract marks a significant milestone for Redpath Australia and Redpath globally as this is our largest single raiseboring contract to date,” Gavin Ramage, managing director of Redpath Australia. “We are very excited to be assisting our client, providing them with the safe execution of their ventilation systems.”
