Modular Mining Systems, a developer of computer-based mine management solutions for mining operations, held a ribbon cutting ceremony for its new Integrated R+D and Support Center in Tucson, Arizona on Friday, March 14. To keep pace with continued growth in global mining automation, Modular expanded into the newly-renovated, 31,000-sq-ft-space adjacent to its corporate headquarters.
“This expansion is about the long-term and an investment in maintaining Modular’s global leadership position in our market space,” said Modular CEO Luiz Steinberg. “Our highest priority is to provide the best service possible for our customers. An integrated work environment promotes communication and integration among team members, which are key factors in our ability to provide unparalleled quality products and customer satisfaction.”
Modular was founded 35 years ago this year.
