PANalytical launched the new Epsilon 1 XRF (X-ray Fluorescence) for pre-calibrated analysis of mining materials at the recent Fennoscandian Exploration and Mining (FEM) Conference in Levi, Finland.

The Epsilon 1 offers pre-calibrated benchtop XRF for a range of mining material applications, including rocks, soils and a wide range of ore types, required for exploration, mine resource planning and mineral beneficiation.

“PANalytical XRF solutions are well-established for high-quality elemental and mineral analysis of mining materials,” said Pieter de Groot, PANalytical corporate marketing director. The Epsilon 1, he added, “is eminently suited for a range of key material analysis applications for high standards.”

PANalytical is one of the world’s leading suppliers of analytical instrumentation and software for X-ray diffraction (XRD) and X-ray fluorescence spectrometry. This materials characterization equipment is used for scientific research and development, for industrial process control applications and for semiconductor metrology.
