Engineered Software, creator of Pipe-Flo Professional design software, has released a metric edition of its handbook Piping System Fundamentals: The Complete Guide to Gaining a Clear Picture of Your Piping System. The book was written by author and trainer Ray T. Hardee, P.E., and is a guide book for understanding basic design principles in piping systems. The metric edition, according to the publisher, contains all of the topics covered in the original U.S. edition but with metric conversions. The book is 160 pages, has more than 140 images and a newly expanded index. Purchase of the book includes a software CD for designing and calculating piping systems. The book is also included free with registration to one of the company’s training courses.
