Superior Industries said it plans to purchase FLSmith’s crusher manufacturing plant in Pekin, Illinois, USA. According to Superior, the major asset associated with the transaction is a 10-year-old, 70,000-sq-ft plant that currently employs 30 people. Superior plans to use the new facility as a U.S.-based manufacturing center for cone crushing equipment.
Earlier this spring, Superior purchased Clemro Western. This Calgary, Alberta, Canadian division has manufactured its own line of cone and jaw crushers for more than three decades.
