Getman Corp. has entered into a global distribution agreement where Sandvik Mining will be the exclusive global distributor of Getman’s products (with exception of a few geographies). For 60 years, Getman has supplied production and production support equipment for the underground mining industry. Its product range includes scissor lifts, explosive chargers, logistic support vehicles, lubrication trucks, multi-application pallet handlers and custom-design support vehicles along with a complete range of mechanical scalers.
“Getman products expand and strengthen Sandvik’s offering in both underground drilling and rock enforcement systems,” said Scot Smith, president, Sandvik Mining. “Sandvik started to distribute Getman products back in 2000 in certain parts of the world and, with the signing of the global distribution agreement, Sandvik Mining and Getman will work together to offer mining customers worldwide with both leading products and aftermarket services.”
Over the years, Getman has delivered thousands of products to hundreds of underground mines throughout the world. Getman has also recently launched a shotcrete sprayer to complement their full line of concrete transport vehicles.
