On March 27, Ritchie Bros. will sell more than 320 heavy equipment items and trucks for South Africa-based mining company Sentula Mining in Johannesburg. Open to the public, bids can be made in person or online in real-time via the company’s website (www.rbauction.com). All items will be sold on auction day to the highest bidders, regardless of price—without minimum bids or reserve prices.
“It’s unusual in the industry to have this many quality mining units together in one place and sell everything by unreserved auction in one day,” said Regional Sales Manager Steve Barritt. “The inventory will be of interest to anyone who wants to acquire high quality, well-maintained mining equipment and trucks from Cat 777 rock trucks to D-series dozers.”
Sentula Mining Ltd., a South-Africa based mining service provider and coal miner, has operations in 16 African countries.
