This week at Perumin in Arequipa, one of the main mining exhibitions in Latin America, Metso introduced its latest innovations for improving the mining industry’s efficiency, productivity and sustainability targets. At Metso’s booth, Perumin visitors learned about Metso’s offering, ranging from energy-efficient, heavy-duty MDR350 mill discharge slurry pumps to Energy-Saving Idlers (ESI) for a variety of mining applications.
“We are showcasing our latest differentiators, covering both equipment delivering profitable, long-term solutions, as well as services that significantly improve plant availability,” said Aldo Cermenati, senior vice president for the Pacific Rim market area at Metso. “Our team of experienced specialists has been discussing these topics and the major trends shaping the industry.”
Metso Peru has been serving the local mining industry for nearly 30 years. In Arequipa, Metso operates a service center. Altogether Metso has around 260 specialists in Peru helping mining and aggregates industry customers increase profits, improve operational efficiency, and reduce risks.
