Lydian International Ltd. has announced final approval of mining rights by government officials for its Amulsar gold project in southern Armenia; annual guidance for project operator and 100% owned subsidiary Geoteam CJSC stands at 200,000 gold oz.

Howard Stevenson, CEO of the U.K.-based miner, praised the outcome. “The approvals were subjects of intensive interaction with authorities, communities, civil society and others,” he said. “We look forward to a long working relationship within Armenia.”

Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources permitting included infrastructure, three pits, crushers, a conveyor and a heap leach facility.
