Halo provides lithium-based caplamp products primarily to South Africa, which complements EnerSys global position in mining products. This includes long-life batteries and chargers for mines worldwide, and specialty mining caplamps and mine shaft management services.
In the past two years, EnerSys has expanded its presence in the mining business directly with investments and acquisitions in the United States and Africa, and with new products focused in these demanding applications.
