Allied Nevada Gold Corp. sold its Hasbrouck and Three Hills Properties to West Kirkland Mining for $30 million; both are non-core assets, according to company officials. Hasbrouck consists of 28 patented mining claims and 583 unpatented claims, while the nearby Three Hills property is comprised of six patented claims and 100 unpatented mining claims; both are located in Nevada’s Nye and Esmeralda counties.

West Kirkland paid the Reno-headquartered Allied Nevada a non-refundable $500,000 upon signing, and agreed to pay an additional $19.5 million on closing, pending early Q2 2014. A final $10 million payment is expected within 30 months after the closing, subject to Allied Nevada’s option to retain an interest.
