Deutsch said its Jiffy Splices are easy to install, designed to withstand harsh conditions and can quickly repair damaged electrical connections on equipment at the jobsite. Jiffy Splices protect connections from dirt, dust and water immersion to a depth of 3 ft.
They are made from high-quality silicone elastomer and house a contact retention system that secures a mated pair of contacts in a compact, sealed unit. Jiffy Splices accept one Deutsch pin and socket and are available in two sizes depending on the number and size of wires involved. If servicing a Jiffy Splice is required, the contacts can be easily removed using standard Deutsch removal tools without damage to the wire, insulation or the splice body.
