Chesterton Co. now offers turnkey aftermarket cylinder upgrade kits designed to fit popular mobile mining equipment including excavators, haul trucks, dozers and loaders.
According to the Massachusetts, USA-based company, these kits were specifically developed to extend hours of operation versus conventional OEM offerings when used during the repair and overhaul of equipment. Chesterton said its proprietary polymer technologies are coupled with various seal geometries to offer products that have proven to extend hours of operation while helping to enhance mine productivity. Its high temperature kits upgrade equipment to run hotter and longer, improving performance and increasing production. Working in partnership with reputable repair shops, Chesterton said it offers a unique approach to total cylinder re-fitting that saves money and results in a better, more reliable cylinder.
