NewTek Sensor Solutions reported the HT-1000 LVDT Position Sensor operates in environments with extreme temperatures, such as test labs, engine control systems, turbines and furnaces. With a 1-in.-diameter stainless-steel housing, the sensors can continuously operate in up to 1,000°F. They offer high sensitivity, and are available in sizes from 12.7 mm to 25.4 mm and in high-pressure configurations of up to 3,000 psi.
Also available is the NTC-6000-DS Ratiometric LVDT Signal Conditioner to amplify the sensor and provide digital output for many automation and process control applications.
The sensor self-diagnoses for failure, disconnections or short circuits. It offers cybersecurity, lockout and tamper detection.
