Sandvik jaw crushers are now delivered with everything needed for plug-and-play installation, the company reported. Jaw plates can be mixed and reversed for optimal crushing.
The jaw crushers can be delivered with a complete infrastructure including feed hopper, feed hopper interface, drive and subframe with v-belt guard and motor bracket.
The Sandvik Reliability and Protection package is available on all Sandvik jaw crushers.
Separately, Sandvik launched iSURE 8.1, the annual update for the process-control underground rock-excavation software for optimized drilling and blasting. The software is for i-series drill rigs and provides accurate analysis functionality to improve the work cycle and process, Sandvik reported.
iSURE 8.1 includes a three-day training program that covers both simple and advanced concepts.
It features a toolset for advanced metrics that helps the user increase knowledge and reveal points of improvement via information from collected rounds and design data. The knowledge, analytics and data can then be used to improve production, to plan and to raise awareness.
The software also determines if rig adjustment is required or if misuse is suspected, Sandvik reported. “It shows the change in rock mass drillability, drill steel consumption, face shape after blasting and scaling, any operator deviation from the plan while drilling, and, based on scanner data, the realized profile and production volume is shown.”
