Jama launched the MRC 2, a stainless-steel mobile rescue chamber that seats up to eight, provides fresh air, and protects from gas and dust.
The chamber was designed for optimal comfort, the company reported. Centered in the unit is the air purification solution, which scrubs the air and supplies oxygen. The need for masks is eliminated, Jama reported.
The unit can maintain a comfortable internal temperature and an air pressure that locks out dust, smoke and gas. It is powered by 230 volts, and is backed up by a battery pack.
The chamber is maintenance free, Jama reported. Curved sides offer maximum durability. It meets EN16191:2014, HSE and ITA guidelines and standards.
