Strata Worldwide announced a new exclusive supply agreement with Grace Construction Products to introduce Organosol 550DT, a non-expanding, two-component rock consolidation injection resin that offers mines an advanced alternative to traditional urea-silicate glues.
It is designed to consolidate and stabilize fractured coal, rock, and gravel in underground roadways, shafts, coal faces and longwalls. Organosol 550 DT is insensitive to water in the reaction and will not absorb, shrink, expand or foam when it comes into contact with water. It can be used to seal against water.
