Flotation specialist Superior Plastech has released its next-generation range of hose and pipe floats.
Designed for multiple industrial marine applications, uses include dredging, mining, water treatment and aquaculture. The floats are high-impact rotomolded polyethylene and have internal diameters ranging from 10 mm to 630 mm (0.4 in. to 25 in.). Suitable for cable, hose and pipe, the floats come with the option of a quick-release strap, eliminating the time-consuming process of bolting the floats together. Other design improvements in-
clude a molded hole in each end for convenient storage and security and molded locating pins for ease of installation. The floats also come with the option of glass-reinforced polyethylene bolts and nuts—a corrosion-free and economical alternative to galvanized or stainless steel fittings.
