Alimak launched the SL-H Industrial Elevator range, built on rack and pinion technology. Designed for tough environments, the elevator comes in three sizes and offers payload capacities from 1 metric ton (mt) to 3 mt.
Constructed from aluminum and hot-dipped galvanized steel, the rugged unit minimizes downtime and operating costs.
The drive is mounted on top of the car, and enables it to climb up and down the mast at a controlled speed, without the need for a shaft or machine room. The drive provides smooth acceleration and deceleration, offering accurate leveling at landings irrespective of load, the company said.
The car features touchscreen controls that can be adjusted.
A dual solution, featuring two independent elevator cars operating on a single-guide mast column, is available.
The range “incorporates all the safety features that have made Alimak elevators a benchmark for the industrial elevator industry worldwide,” Alimak said. The SL-H is available now.
