Cummins introduced the C1250D6E and C1500D6E generator sets, the first of the Centum Series generators. The customizable generators have high-efficiency engines and a smaller footprint than predecessor solutions. The C1250D6E / C1500D6E generator set has a QSK38 engine, an S Series alternator, a compact design, onboard diagnostics tools, and a three-year warranty. It is compliant with up to (United States Environmental Protection Agency) Tier 4 standards, and can operate at high altitudes.
The generator set brings the needed power density while reducing installation, fuel and maintenance costs, Cummins said. “They have the flexibility to meet or exceed emissions regulations without sacrificing performance.”
