Finnish pump and valve supplier Flowrox said it will introduce a new slurry knife gate valve in the second half of 2014. The new Flowrox SKW valve has been designed specifically to meet its customers’ most demanding applications, while its service-friendly design provides reliable performance and easy maintenance. The SKW is intended for heavy-duty industrial use. A one-piece body design provides strength that improves reliability and service life, while a new load distribution ring integrated to the ring sleeve prevents over-compression and ensures optimal operation of the ring sleeve and gate. Flowrox claims the SKW valve’s advanced design makes installation and maintenance easier to perform.
