Arctic Fox has released its Hot Fox in-tank/in-line fuel warmer with auxiliary standpipe, designed to provide heated fuel for both main engine and fuel-fired coolant pre-heaters, cab warmers or other fuel-dependent products.
Fuel warmers, according to the company, provide protection against fuel gelling problems associated with cold weather operation, and enable users to reduce the use of blended fuel and winter fuel additives. Product features include availability with a 2-mm or 4-mm I.D. auxiliary fuel tube to accommodate most diesel-fired coolant preheaters; stainless steel construction for durability and compatibility with all fuels and additives; low profile (51-mm) mounts on vehicles with reduced clearance between fuel tank and cab; and easy installation in the fuel tank through a standard fuel gauge sending-unit opening.
