BME reported INNOVEX RG emulsion is formulated for reactive ground and has been proven in South African and Zambian mines. It contains additives that inhibit exothermic reactions in ground with sulphides and other reactive materials, the supplier reported.
The company offers solutions to test rock to recommend the right emulsion. For example, BME’s lab in Losberg, Gauteng, South Africa, conducts tests and simulates mine conditions. The lab measures exothermic reactions and recommends the best mix. A similar lab does the same in Zambia.
