CAS DataLoggers announced dataTaker, a data assimilation system for plants, sites and equipment. For hauler fleet management, it can be part of a brake monitoring system that logs the speeds, brake temperatures, gear levels and other values for an entire fleet, the company reported. It can be built into a water monitoring station to measure water quality parameters as captured by disparate sensors. It can also be used as part of an air quality monitoring station to keep tabs on dust levels and wind speeds. With a built-in 4G cellular modem, it relays real-time data for downloads and sends alerts in email notifications.
