Schaeffler released the FAG MaxTAC taconite bearing seal to the North American market. It fits labyrinth seal grooves of standard SAF-series housings and provides superior protection against contamination and moisture, the company reported.
Manufactured from high-grade steel, FAG MaxTack has a space-efficient design that comprises a labyrinth seal and a polymer V-ring seal. It features Durotect Z (zinc phosphate) coating that provides resistance to wear and corrosion, Schaeffler reported.
