XCMG reported it opened its first spare parts center in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, capping a project launched in April in partnership with local dealer AODE. The company described the development as the final piece in a regional supply chain jigsaw puzzle.

Leadership at XCMG reported the new center will further the company mission to expand its footprint in both Mongolia and Middle Asia. “XCMG will invest heavily to create a global spare parts network and standard service procedures to win customers’ trust,” Wang Min, XCMG CEO, said.

The center will connect with the Xuzhou Headquarters, Erenhot Distribution Center and mining district support warehouses to create a sales, support, and repair service network that offers new equipment, full support and lifetime guarantees to major customers in the region, the company reported.

The company reported its exports to Mongolia have risen year over year. “The total number of machinery shipped to Mongolia up to July 2019 has already exceeded the total of 2018,” the company reported.
