Weir opened its new Port Hedland Service Center, located in the heart of the Pilbara region, Western Australia. The $19 million facility is the flagship Enduron high-pressure grinding rolls (HPGR) service center in the region.

The new facility bolsters Weir’s national network of 16 service centers. It will service Weir’s broader range of products and technologies, provide engineering and maintenance support, and warehouse critical parts for faster service times for customers, Weir said. “The facility demonstrates our commitment to sustainable mining,” said Kristen Walsh, regional managing director. “And with further investment planned, we will continue to support our ambitious growth plans in the Pilbara region of Western Australia.”
