Surge Battery Metals (SBM) contracted Boart Longyear for drilling services for the 2024 drill program at the Nevada North Lithium Project (NNLP).
The program will drill eight reverse-circulation holes to further expand and define the lateral and vertical extent of the NNLP deposit. SBM will test the known geophysical footprint for lithium mineralization 1 km to the west and up to a 1.2 km to the south of the 2024 maiden resource area.
SBM said Boart was selected due, in part, to its status as an industry leader. “They have considerable experience in lithium claystone deposits, and we are particularly pleased that they will be using local crews and equipment,” CEO Greg Reimer said.
