Brain Industries reported it signed an exclusive U.S. distribution agreement with Strata Worldwide. The latter will sell the former’s Airloader and Mudskipper pneumatic pumps.
Brain said the development could lead to the doubling of Brain’s pumps business. “There seems to be nothing like our pumps available for the U.S. mining and tunnelling sectors,” said Gillian Summers, managing director, Brain Industries.
Strata said the pumps fit the supplier’s geotech portfolio. “Based on the quality and performance of Brain Industries’ pumps, we are excited to introduce them to our customers and others in the market,” said Josh Behling, general manager, Strata Worldwide.
The Airloader pumps handle just about any flow-able material including sludge, or slurries with solids, Brain reported. The Mudskipper pump is Brain’s smallest and most popular pump.
