Rema Tip Top is celebrating its 70th anniversary with events for employees, customers and vendors throughout 2023. Celebrations that include cake and special events will be held at tradeshows and at each facility.
The company was founded as Remaco Inc., was first headquartered in New York City, and was purchased in 1985 by Rema Tip Top AG, the subsidiary of Stahlgruber AG, founded in 1923. Rema now owns more than 160 companies with subsidiaries in more than 30 countries and representation in 176 countries.
From 2004 to 2010, Rema evolved from being an importer and wholesaler to being a distributor, service company, manufacturer, and exporter. In 2022, the company expanded its flagship Madison, Georgia (U.S.A.) location to 21,000 m2.
The company attributed its success over the years to its employees. “We see our employees as the most important part of our company’s history and future,” said Rema CEO Olaf Gunnarsson.
