McLanahan Corp. announced it is acquiring Anaconda Equipment of Northern Ireland. Legal closing is expected to occur in the first quarter of 2019. The companies partnered in 2017, with McLanahan signing to distribute Anaconda’s line of mobile track equipment. Founded in 2008, Anaconda Equipment supplies an extensive range of mobile tracked equipment, which includes scalping, screening, recycling and conveying equipment. In the past decade, they sold more than 1,200 units into more than 50 countries across six continents. Leadership at McLanahan said Anaconda will be a “good fit” for the family of companies. “When it came down to it, we saw in Anaconda a company that was well-established, had great employees and dealers, and had many of the same values and business principles as we do,” said Sean McLanahan, CEO, McLanahan.
