Through its subsidiary in Australia, Komatsu Ltd. agreed to acquire Immersive Corp. Pty. Ltd., which specializes in equipment simulators for training purposes.
Komatsu reported the acquisition will enable it to meet its commitment to mining customers to offer training and workforce development solutions. “We look forward to working together with Immersive Technologies to enhance Komatsu’s mining business and continue the success in its multiple-OEM simulator strategy,” said Masayuki Moriyama, president, mining business division, Komatsu Ltd.
