Lydian Armenia selected Immersive Technologies for simulators for training locals at a greenfield project. Specifically, the simulator will expedite the training of hauler operators, who typically shadow experienced drivers for a protracted period before deployment, and reduce the risk involved in that deployment, the miner reported. Lydian is the first mining company to deploy simulation-based training from Immersive Technologies in Armenia, making it the 44th country where Immersive Technologies’ systems are deployed. The new mine has a 4-km downhill loaded haul with up to 10% grade.
