Ramjack Technology Solutions announced the Remote Operations Center for services at AngloGold Ashanti’s Iduapriem mine in Tarkwa, Ghana. The center coordinates with another in Johannesburg, and is designed to optimize fleet performance through use of a networked organization and real-time data generated by a fleet management system.

Leadership at the mine said the center is part of a larger effort to achieve world-class mining operations. “Together with our recently mobilized long-term mining contract, we are looking forward to step-changing our performance,” said Samueal Pobee, managing director.

The partnership and center will target operational improvements driven by data and using expert services provided both on-site and remotely. It includes 24/7 data analysis and support, which is critical to attaining operational excellence, Ramjack Technology Solutions reported.

“Having worked with the forward-thinking team at AGA for many years, we’re honored to help bring this next level of efficiency to Iduapriem,” CEO Mike Jackson said. “We look forward to continued collaboration with AGA toward achieving optimal performance from their technology solutions.”
