FLANDERS reported it entered a strategic partnership with relayr to develop and deploy remotely monitored intelligent solutions with guaranteed business outcomes.

The partnership will build relayr’s artificial intelligence-based Internet of Things (IoT) technologies into solutions for asset management, FLANDERS reported. Customers will have access to new digital services capable of reducing unexpected downtime and improving asset performance, FLANDERS reported. The digital services are expected to reduce capital expenditures and ensure maximum production of critical assets, guaranteed by relayr’s parent company, Hartford Steam Boiler/Munich RE.

The partnership means FLANDERS will shift to a predictive service model. The step is crucial, according to leadership at the company. “As we move further into the world of Industry 4.0, it is increasingly clear that undertaking a digital transformation is a necessary move in order for us to continue to serve our customers with the world-class electrical expertise FLANDERS is known for,” Shawn Collins, executive director, U.S. Regional Service Centers, FLANDERS, said. “relayr’s expertise and thought leadership in IIoT, combined with our application knowledge, will yield solid business outcomes for our customers.”
