Boipelo Mining Contractors won a contract from Universal Coal for mining and related services at New Clydesdale Colliery in Mpumalanga. The turnkey contract covers three underground sections of the mine. The company is also responsible for the installation and maintenance of the conveyor and ventilation infrastructure.
Work began in 2019 and Boipelo will reportedly start with the operations on the No. 2 lower, with three continuous miner sections.
